Lets Build a Professional and Safe Aviation Community
AERWAY COMMUNITY RULES
Effective Date: February 1, 2026
This policy is a "living" document, and subject to changes.
Aerhub is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone in the aviation community, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, race, religion, or national origin. We do not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any participants on our Platform (“Members”) in any form.
This code of conduct applies to all Aerway Spaces (“Aerway”), including our Platform (which includes the Aerway mobile application, The Aerpod podcast, and all related services, platforms and features), events, and official communications, both online and offline. Anyone who violates this code of conduct may be sanctioned or expelled from the platform at the discretion of the Aerhub team.
Some Spaces on Aerway may have additional rules established by Space Admins, which will be made clearly available to members. Members are responsible for knowing and abiding by these Space-specific rules in addition to these Platform-wide Community Rules.
DEFINITIONS
Harassment includes but is not limited to the following:
· Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, mental illness, neuro(a)typicality, physical appearance, body size, age, race, religion, or national origin
· Unwelcome comments regarding a person's lifestyle choices and practices, including but not limited to those related to food, health, parenting, drugs, and employment
· Deliberate misgendering or use of "dead" or rejected names
· Gratuitous or off-topic sexual images or behavior in spaces where they are not appropriate or accepted
· Physical contact and simulated physical contact (e.g., textual descriptions like "*hug*" or "*backrub*") without consent or after a request to stop
· Threats of violence
· Incitement of violence towards any individual, including encouraging a person to commit suicide or to engage in self-harm
· Deliberate intimidation
· Stalking or following
· Harassing photography or recording, including logging online activity for harassment purposes
· Sustained disruption of discussion or professional discourse
· Unwelcome sexual attention
· Pattern of inappropriate social contact, such as requesting or assuming inappropriate levels of intimacy with others
· Continued one-on-one communication after requests to cease
· Deliberate "outing" of any aspect of a person's identity without their consent except as necessary to protect vulnerable people from intentional abuse
· Publication of non-harassing private communication without consent
Aviation-Specific Prohibited Conduct:
· Sharing false or misleading safety-critical information that could endanger aviation operations
· Deliberate misrepresentation of aviation credentials, certifications, or qualifications
· Promoting unsafe flight operations or maintenance practices
· Sharing export-controlled technical data in violation of ITAR or EAR regulations
· Disclosing classified, proprietary, or operationally sensitive information without authorization
REPORTING
If you, as a Member, are being harassed by a Member of Aerway, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please immediately contact the Aerhub team at help@aerhub.com. If the person who is harassing you is on the team, they will recuse themselves from handling your incident. We will respond as promptly as we can.
This code of conduct applies to Aerway platform spaces, but if you are being harassed by a Member of Aerway outside our platform, we still need to be aware and want to know about it. Please contact the Aerhub team immediately should you become aware of such harassment a help@aerhub.com. We intend to take all good-faith reports of harassment by Aerway Members seriously. Aerhub, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to exclude or remove people or members based on their inappropriate behavior.
In order to protect our team from abuse and burnout, we reserve the right to reject any report we believe to have been made in bad faith. Reports intended to silence legitimate criticism may be deleted without response.
We will respect confidentiality requests for the purpose of protecting victims of abuse.
CONSEQUENCES
Members asked to stop harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
If a Member engages in harassing behavior, the Aerhub team may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including:
· Warning
· Temporary suspension from the Platform or specific Spaces
· Permanent expulsion from Aerway
· Removal of Pro Space monetization privileges
· Reporting to law enforcement or aviation regulatory authorities when appropriate
The severity of consequences will be determined based on the nature and severity of the violation, prior conduct history, and potential safety impact.

SPACE ADMIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Space Admins are expected to:
· Enforce these Community Rules within their Spaces
· Establish and communicate clear Space-specific rules that align with these platform rules
· Respond promptly to reports of harassment or policy violations
· Remove content and Members who violate rules
· Cooperate with the Aerhub Team when necessary
· Model professional and respectful behavior
Failure by Space Admins to adequately enforce these rules may result in Space suspension or removal.
UPDATES AND MODIFICATIONS
Aerhub may update these Community Rules at any time to address emerging issues, community feedback, or regulatory requirements. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Member’s continued use of Aerway constitutes acceptance of updated rules.
